Publisher's Synopsis
There is "Bible", its suicidal new testament (how did the PURPORTED Jesus, Paul, and Peter die?). Every step of throwing aside of "Bible" was an advance for civilization, period, both in politics (kingly despotism, David, virginal Jesus' "render unto," allowing of slavery but forbidding of divorce in B) and science (universe created in SIX days, the seventh, resting!!!). If it wasn't, not weren't, for this, christians would today be living in their equivalent of sharia law: the beating of INTRANSIGENT wives is COMMANDED, not merely authorized (if reasoning doesn't change them "then beat them" until obedient), in "Quran" no matter how "moderate" moslem apologists TRY to explain this. The strength of a religion is not the number of its followers nor its logos (the internal logic of which can be easily invented) but its depiction of pure psychology. If a book cannot get this world correct, how can it POSSIBLY be expected to get the next one right? This work gives a refreshing new look at psychology.
