There are two vehicles of verse by which these elements are conveyed to the world there is the love lyric, with its warm breathings of unlimited admiration, and its touch of scenic beauty; and the ballad or narrative poem, with its detailed descriptions of peoples and customs, and its enum eration of virtues and vices.
