Publisher's Synopsis
This is the secon book in the 5th grade children's living science book series entitled, The Gumshoe Archives. It teaches the science concepts of magnets and how a magnetic field is generated as well as other related concepts.
Each chapter contains a review exam to test the students knowledge of the information presented as well as a comprehensive exam at the end of the book. There are also helpful activity ideas at the beginning of each chapter to help the teacher facilitate the learning process.
The Storyline:
Mr. Stuffyman is anxious to inherit his new castle but there is a problem, it's haunted. The town won't let him move in until the ghosts move out. He hires Andy to investigate and rid his castle of the unwanted hosts. Join Andy as he gets to the bottom of the haunting while learning about Magnets and Magnetism in the process.
