Publisher's Synopsis
Ten years ago eight year old Owen Cassidy disappeared - leaving his distraught father Nick full of guilt, for instead of looking after Owen that day, Nick had been in bed with one of their neighbours. In the aftermath of Owen's disappearance, Nick leaves the family and goes to America, where he drifts from city to city. Ten years on, he returns to Dublin to confront his demons and find out what happened to his son. Little does he know his investigations will unleash further violence, taking him into a terrifying world he barely knew existed.
