Chloe Smart is five-years-old. Chloe's third pen-friend is Mitten the Squitten (half squirrel, half kitten who lives in an ash tree that's tidy and trash-free.) Mitten is a very well known and successful private detective, who has solved many awkward cases.
He, and Chloe's other new-found friends, are soon caught up in solving the alarming case of The Fairy Garden and who has trashed it! Can they discover who the culprits are and rescue the garden from its poor state?
