There is perhaps no greater theological dilemma than the interaction and relationship between God and humanity. Process-Relational theology proposes an alternative conception of the problem and ultimately, provides practical applications of theological ideas for transforming the church and society. The Process-Relational position is that God acts in the world through persuasion rather than coercion; God has the persuasive power to influence human beings toward "creative transformation." God genuinely cares about what happens in the world because what happens in the world genuinely affects God. Together, God and humanity are "the great companions," cooperating to creatively transform the world.
