Publisher's Synopsis

You will only know if you are having impact if you pointed to a reality when starting. It is quite telling when the same quantification depiction is used over decades, in some cases as a badge of honor. Such has become the case with the phrase, "we have come a long way, but we have a long way to go." We cannot declare that America and/or Canada is post racial. To declare post racial societies in 2015 is uninformed at best. We have to admit that we still have a racial reconciliation problem in the body of Christ that is unfortunately still reflective of a broader reconciliation issue. Now is not the time to be quiet and hope that racial reconciliation and its related issues will work out on their own or go away. From positions as prophets and priests, we must speak to general and specific issues. Yes, there are the general principles of God's word regarding reconciliation; but is there a "Rhema word" regarding 21st century racial reconciliation? I would say most definitely. This is not the time to be quiet in our families, in our churches, in our communities, nor nationally. This is not the time to be quiet in our varied circles of influence. It is time to have the reconciliation conversation. The Gospel demands it. It is time to show the world that we are one (reconciled) in Christ Jesus.
