Publisher's Synopsis
The Gods of Frequency follows the relationship of two musicians living in Glasgow, one battling with the crippling self doubt and anxiety due to his working class label in an overwhelmingly wealthy arts industry and the other privately educated. He falls victim to the pressures placed on him both internally and externally and succumbs to alcohol addiction, ultimately leading to a nervous breakdown. The relationship forms the centrepiece of the story, with Shane's pivotal self-recovery moment stemming from an accidental pregnancy which pulls him from the claws of addiction.
