Either our job is too demanding, and we feel the need to prove ourselves, or our family or children constantly need our presence, draining us of every ounce of energy. And when we finally decide to do something we enjoy, even as simple as going out for drinks with our friends, or having a relaxing treatment at the spa, we often feel guilty and rushed and are unable to enjoy our time. The result is frustration, tiredness, and loss of passion for our own wants, goals, and dreams. We feel that renouncing our own wants and pleasures is expected of us and indulging in our personal needs is often seen by those around us as frivolous. We cannot live our life like that. We cannot simply survive our daily lives. We need to search for the Goddess that is lying dormant deep inside us, we need to find what we truly desire, we need to blossom. We deserve, at the very least, to give ourselves the respect, care, and admiration we need. By writing this book, my aim is to help you to look deep inside yourself to find your inner Goddess. I wish to inspire you to pause, to cast away from your daily routine, against stress and urban pollution, to find nourishment for the Goddess in you. Wellness is an inexhaustible subject, as it affects every aspect of our being. This book focuses on connecting the dots and bringing together this multi-faceted topic, to remind us of what is truly important in life; to remind us of what we intrinsically know, but often forget to practice; to show us how we can balance our mind, our body, and our soul in a holistic manner.
