The Author is a retired Sergeant with the Asheville NC Police Department. Scott has worked as a Detective and Supervisor in the Special Victims and Juvenile Investigations Unit of the Department. Has worked as a uniformed Supervisor in the police department's School Resource Officers Unit and a Patrol officer and Supervisor. The major part of his carrier in law enforcement has been working with the young people of the community. Having retired after 30 years of Police work Lunsford continues to teach law enforcement training classes. Writing adult and children books. Working for the Madison County School District and the Madison County North Carolina Sheriff's Office as a School Resource Officer in a small Elementary School in the Appalachian Mountains.
