Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Genealogy of Frothingham in New England, 1850
It should be noted that, at the foot Of the second page of the Records, Mr. Wyman underlined a word to emphasize his belief that he had' identified the Immigrant, which is very significant from such a careful man.
It is also significant that in the later book, The Genealogies and Estates of Charles town, Mr. Wyman definitely states that William Frothingham came from Yorkshire, and that he came to New England in Winthrop's ?eet. These statements show that Mr. Wyman's later researches convinced him that such were the facts.
