"THE FANTASY OF REELING YOURSELF IN FROM THE FUTURE IS ACTUALLY MAKING ME FANTASIZE ABOUT TIME, AND NOW IT FEELS LIKE I'M GROWING." It is a helluva thing foreseeing yourself die tomorrow, being able to prevent your untimely death but, then dying unwillingly anyway. At a cabin in the woods, Ms. (Hazel) Soffy's chance to bust the time paradox, and save the time-machine inventor, will come only once: tomorrow-on Easter Sunday. Hazel must turn to the future, for help, by accelerating straightforward. Messing with the future, however, can make bad dreams come true. Luckily for her, one's "clones from the future" can also prove how, when you're sick of yourself, being there for your "self" is the best med. Essentially, this is about an unattached woman-turning forty-who deals with having been shut out from happiness in "the big city life". Her antagonists were contemptuously resentful, willfully ignorant, and impudently audacious-three personality traits which are actually, believed to be, combined security measures that bullies use as protection against their challengers. Problem is: if nobody stands up to those meatheads, then the obtuse will be the ones in power-to take advantage of us all.
