Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Free Will Baptist, 2005, Vol. 122
Here we are again, embarking on yet another brand new year. Do you have any plans? Have you made preparations for what's ahead? N Ope, me neither. Well, not exactly. I mean, I have thought about several things that would be nice to do. For one, my wife and I have thought about finishing up the bonus room of our home, but we're not quite sure what to do with it. New Year's resolutions just don't seem to last very long, but maybe I'll see if I can stick to at least one for the long haul. Time seems to have flown by these last few years. It's amazing! I seem to be reminiscing over childhood memories, and a lot about my dad. We did lots of things together when my three brothers and I were growing up. Our dad took us fishing (of just about all sorts) and hunting. We loved it. Yet, I haven't done any real fishing since my daddy's death in 1991. It doesn't seem like I have the patience for it anymore; or, I don't remember all the ways to do things; or, it's just not the same without him - I'm not sure why. But it's something I'd like to get back into - I think. Maybe it's the cleaning of the fish afterwards (that wasn't so fun but we had to do) that sours the thought of it?! Anyway, it was fun and peaceful. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
