Publisher's Synopsis
Liu Hulan has to investigate an unusual murder in Beijing. As she begins her work 1000s of miles away a top Chinese officials child's body is found decomposing on a freighter. The 2 deaths are connected by rare plant fibres in the victims' bodies.
