Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from The Family, Vol. 1: March, 1920

As the social and legal experience which the students are obtaining is of value to them, so a certain amount of legal training would be an asset to the social worker. Some of the district superintendents who have been watching the law students' work carefully have spoken again and again of the Clear-cut, logical, systematic way in which they make their reports. Many social workers do not make reports, so that the above adjectives would not apply while they are students nor even when they are in their first year of service.
