Publisher's Synopsis

Some refute the concept that God exercises faith and so deny the literal translation of Mark 11:22: "Have faith of God" or "have the God kind of faith."
This translation is supported by the word for word Greek, where the Greek word "en" (in) is not found, and the word for "God" is correctly translated "of God"
God is a spirit, and all spirits possess certain qualities, attributes, and functions. These include things such as love, faith, peace, and joy. Some of these are passive qualities. You can have joy and peace, but you do not exercise peace and joy. You can also have faith and love, but these are functions that you can exercise. You can love God, love your family, and love your neighbor. God also possesses these attributes and functions. It would be silly to say that God does not exercise love. He loves us, and that love translates into actions. "God so loved the world that He" did something. It would be equally silly to say that God does not exercise faith.
Those who seek to deny that God uses faith define it in such a way that suggests faith always has an object, and therefore God cannot have faith because who would He believe in? The answer is obvious and plainly shown in scripture. God believes in His own abilities. He believes that what He says comes to pass. He believes that when He speaks, He calls things that be not as if they were, and they, therefore, stand forth.
