The first collection of stories by French novelist and short story writer Maurice LeBlanc (1864-1941) featuring Arsene Lupin, the gentleman thief, master of disguise and detective, often described as the French counterpart to Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. The stories appeared first in the magazine 'Je sais tout' from 1905 before being published together in book form in 1907.
