Examining the factors that contributed to the exodus of trained Ethiopians to the US, this work explores their conditions and integration into American society, as well as their adjustment and the utilization of their training and professional experience. It identifies the probable political and economic developments in Ethiopia that may attract Ethiopians who live and work in the US. This study addresses a general problem faced by many African countries.
