Gen. Ch. - Eyes hairy, contiguous in males arista plumose margins of facial groove ciliated from the vibrissas to the base of the third joint of the antennae; alulets large, the lower scale twice as long as the upper; abdomen short and rounded; bristles on the back of thorax and abdomen small and soft; anal vein terminating a short distance from the margin of the wing.
