The Enhanced centers around the orphaned fire Enhanced boy, Osmund Mahoney, who together with his pet dragon Igneus ventures into the vast world of Aliquid on an adventure to free the world of the chaos created by a war that happened six years ago. The war was started when the Enhanced started to lose control over the element they possessed and it resulted in great casualties. On his quest to clear the world of prejudice and to find the orb that presumably can grant any wish, Osmund and Igneus are joined by five others. The stoic yet caring water Enhanced Travion Velasquéz. The hotheaded wind Enhanced Riva Hollingsworth. The calm snow Enhanced Adrian Fowler. The motherly human Shiromi Yamamoto and lastly the light Enhanced princess of Aliquid, Erica Odonell. On their quest it soon dawns upon the group that not everything is as it seems behind the castle walls. And when Osmund is standing face to face with the king, he is soon faced with a choice that will change the world.
