Since 2006, honeybee populations worldwide have been devastated by Colony Collapse Disorder, puzzling beekeepers and scientists alike. Almost 10 years later the crisis continues unabated, with honeybees continuing to die by the billions. And the honeybee has not been recognized as an endangered species...until now. The honeybee is endangered, but we can save them from extinction: through smarter spending, a renewed connection to nature, and new forms of sacred activism.
