Publisher's Synopsis
As she got closer, Ivani was starting to make out red hair. Ivani only knew one ginger and that was her friend Athena. Ivani quickened her pace, intrigued by the possibility that Athena and she could talk in each other's minds. When she was about ten feet away she saw a shadowy figure she hadn't seen before. She slowed her pace once again. Hairs were standing up on her neck. Ivani finally stopped one foot away, practically breathing the same air as Athena, though Athena didn't acknowledge her presence and continued to stare off into the distance at the air above Ivani's right shoulder. The shadowy figure had their arm on Athena's shoulder. The figure started talking in barely a whisper, in a voice Ivani recognized all too well. The dragon girl herself. Orlaynis.
