Anna thinks Charlie is the man for her, and wants the world to know it. He seems just as smitten, except for one problem - he will not introduce her to his mother, saying they won't get on. Despite several arguments he refuses to budge - until he is sent on a business trip and Anna decides to take matters into her own hands.
