Publisher's Synopsis
The Devil Only Knows is an exploration of the psyche of a wrathful teenager who has her only wish in life, and death, taken from her and embarks upon a posthumous quest for vengeance... at all costs.
The title of Daniel Grigg's first novel is an homage to Nikolai Gogol's infamous 'Dead Souls' which he read whilst writing The Devil Only Knows.
Whilst Grigg possesses a unique identity in his writing there are nods towards the work of Mary Shelley as well as contemporary horror maestro James Herbert.
With parallels to horror classic Carrie by Stephen King this tale reminds us all that;
Hell hath no fury like a teenager scorned...
