Publisher's Synopsis
Set in the Normandy countryside and Paris during the 1870 siege. Kate was a talented painter and when she was asked to France to paint the Baron de Centeville, she was delighted. However the Baron was a man with a long memory and old scores to settle and Kate was used in his game of revenge.
