Publisher's Synopsis

LAUDAH comes into close contact with god MAFIA, a savage terrorist that killed her parents. She is scared and at her house she recollects painful memories which spoil her day. The following day when a gecko falls upon her from a tree, a dormant lightning power she has been carrying is activated. Her desire to avenge the death of her parents is triggered. When her boyfriend RONALD tables a marriage proposal, she offers to accept it only after he helps her kill god Mafia. Being scared of god Mafia, Ronald is alienated from her. As time goes on, Ronald becomes aware that he has super powers. He speeds back to Laudah and she nearly rejects him. Before they make plans they find themselves under an embarrassing internment at the mental hospital. Some months later, a new comer provides an opportunity that releases them from the mental hospital. They commit a crime on their way out and they are hunted like rabbits. To avoid arrest they find themselves obliged to leave on that same day for the planet of god Mafia. They team up with a young boy (HYDE) and they have a close shave with death inside a disused sewer network. A white light gateway deposits them on another planet where they are nearly burnt to ashes. Finally, when they reach god Mafia's planet, they engage in a long tough fight with god Mafia. However, Hyde turns out to be a super hero. After killing god Mafia, they free a host of prisoners including the president. They find themselves in real big trouble when they try to return to planet Earth.
