Dedicated to Thomas Mifflin. Three states noted in BAL, which see. For further discussion of this work see: Blanck, Jacob. "Brackenridge's Death of General Montgomery." Harvard Library Bulletin VII (1953): 357-361. Two states of the frontispiece noted. In one, the area at lower left is blank, and there is a small white cloud above the ghost of General Wolfe.
