The Prologue and the first ten chapters introduce Joss Dresden, the new hero sheriff in town. Joss is sucked into a supernatural world he didn't knew existed and then learns he is the worlds hope for salvation from dark and evil forces. Along with help from a higher power and a trusty sidekick, Joss wields a weapon that levels the playing field.
