In ancient times, a family was endowed by the Creator, to defend the world from unknown evil. And for generations they succeed. Until Heklis came. Only one Custod survived, all but smothering the flames of power. But the magic is not lost.
It lives in young Cedrick Custod, but his father, the only Custod to survive the Heklis's purge, will not let him know it. One accidental spell will bring the fury of his father crashing down upon him. Yet, if he leverages the power inside of him, they could awaken the dormant ancient powers they'd lost. To save their world, Cedrick will have to choose between duty and family, between his own desires and those he loves most. Can he overcome his father's fury and find the key to saving his world?
