Running Iron returns to the shack where they have been staying to find Bibo gone and a young woman named Ardis Manners who holds a rifle on him. Running Iron is needed for a job and Bibo won't be released until he completes it. "The Curse of Montezuma" continues the saga of Elgera Douglas, known as Senorita Scorpion. A powerful Indian claims to be the reincarnation of the great Aztec leader, Montezuma II, and is organizing the Indian tribes to found a new Aztec empire.
