When David's father reveals he has Alzheimer's, he also enlists him to remember. His father has been holding his grandfather's memories from surviving the Holocaust, and now lives in fear that he will forget them before he can tell the stories. As they try to capture the stories, the disease begins to warp and steal them. In the end, David is forced to confront the sobering question, who are you when you can't remember?
