The Country of the Blind and Other Stories is a collection of thirty-three short science fiction and science fiction shorts written between 1894 and 1909 by English writer HG Wells.Wells wrote in the preface of the book that the collection "encompasses all my short stories that I re-read to care for each of them." He went on to say: "There are no short stories except two collections of stories related to" A Story of the Stone Age "and" A Story of the Days to Come "in his previous collection entitled Space and Time Stories (1899). The least merit of this volume is the exception. "
