The Cornish Fishermen's Watch-Night and Other Stories contains a plethora of religious stories compiled by the Religious Tract Society, originally founded in 1799. As a side note, this group uncharacteristically allowed many women writers to provide stories for their books that were aimed specifically at female audiences -- giving these women opportunities that were typically denied them in this time period. Ultimately, this book would be an interesting read for anyone who likes religious stories and tales for children. This book also proves to hold important information for people who are interested in historic literature and the books of the Religious Tract Society.
