In his 38 years on the sidelines, Gary Edwards has coached on all three NCAA levels: Division I, Division II, and Division III. He teams have won numerous championships and awards, and Edwards has earned over 540 career victories as a college head coach. But Edwards has been described by many as a much better writer than coach. He wrote a weekly column for the Indiana (PA) Gazette during his 10 years as the head coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has continued writing a weekly column for the Florence (SC) Morning News while serving as the head coach at Francis Marion University.
