Publisher's Synopsis
TX Meredith, a detective at Scotland Yard is suspicious of a very wealthy Greek Albanian, Remington Kara, who lives in a fortress-like house with an impenetrable room containing a telephone line direct to Scotland Yard. He believes that Kara was responsible for the imprisonment of a friend on a charge of murder. One evening the direct line from Kara's house rings in his office and when he and other police officers manage to break into the locked room they find Kara lying dead and the only clues are two burnt candles. Will TX manage to solve the crime?
