Publisher's Synopsis
Writing, and words, have the power, and ability to form, and shape lives. Through varying perception, perspective, given various content and intent, the one constant is that words make you feel; what a person says, or doesn't say, can shape your outcome. From being a little girl desperate for an escape, and something to turn to, to a young adult in need of clearing her mind, and feeling relief, writing has played a major role in Lee's life and in shaping who she's become. Through her struggle with her gender identity, to her sexuality, to always feeling like an outcast, her health, and after having the surgery that changed her life forever; writing became a staple in her overall well-being and ability to keep going. Any time she is going through something, good or bad, a small event or possibly life changing, she picks up a pen, or opens her laptop, and writes- the thoughts flowing freely and without restraint from her mind, down her arm, to her fingertips, as they pour out onto paper or the screen. While she may not find the answers she's looking for, she certainly views writing as a prompt solution.
