Pomathius, Nairobi, Chronus, and Hector, as Guardian Angels, find themselves thrust into a whirlwind of events and they do their best to protect the humans in their charge. Oden broods over his existence and tries to find inner peace as he struggles to protect Lucy in China. Ray thinks he's losing his mind and does not confide in Lailah, his Guardian Angel, before it's too late. The watchers of time stand idly by as the chosen face unknown peril.
