Lisa and Thomas Thory had lost their parents when they were children, and raised by their Aunt Lucile for the past sixteen years. After a car accident they had lost her, telling them before she died to meet a man they had never known, Bael. Thus throwing them into a world of many worlds and races they only knew as myths. Unbelievable yet... They are told by Bael that he will escort them and with help keep them safe to meet their true family miles away in Europe so that they may make a choice that will change their lives. But that there were tribes of Vampire that wanted them dead. Along their journey they travel with a family of Weretigers, and two Werebears, and of course Bael who turns out to be a Demigod, and more. Though the children find this all hard to believe, things get even stranger as they learn of their own past. With Vampires taking dangerous chances to stop, and kill them along their journey; it isn't long before Bael believes something or someone else is behind the attacks. Pulling the strings, but why; he doesn't know. Their journey is fraught with sorcery, gods and creatures. With Vampires and monsters after them, and something else planning each step. All to stop them from getting to their destination, and making Their Choice.
