It follows an extensive consultation undertaken on the Scottish arts and has been overseen by a Steering group comprising representatives of the Scottish Arts, Museums and Film Councils and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities. The Charter is divided into easily assimilated sections on the artist, the audience and organizational structures. Key findings and recommendations suggest the way forward.
