Set in 1926, this is the story of 19-year-old David Bendiger. Having lived through the Russo-Japanese war, World War I, the 1917 revolutions and Polish-Soviet war, David feels old before his time. Equipped with a certificate of immigration to Palestine, David has to decide who to take with him.
