Publisher's Synopsis
It's present time, and 28 year old, Gibbs Van Zant-an abundantly rich daredevil with a love and passion for trekking the 'the great Outdoors', soon finds his first trip ever to Arizona's desert southwest much more challenging than he could have ever imagined, when on a whim, he decides to hike the deep and desolate Superstition Mountain range on his own. -Experimenting with a newfound quest for ancient Indian ruins, and a possibly new hobby in cave exploring, the daring hiker would inevitably find "the thrill" he was looking for, though it wouldn't stem from his latest interest in exploring for old pueblos, or cliff dwellings within the red-lava summits. Instead, it derived by the merciless wrath of six-legged man-eaters, known only as the 'Dahlcry' (Doll-cry').-Grotesque, mysterious seven-foot-long entities that only a handful of people knew existed within the vast chain of mountains.
