Publisher's Synopsis
This is about an investigation into a murder in the Highlands of Scotland investigated by the Strathclyde Police Force. It is a work of fiction and portrays how difficult it can be for detectives to investigate a crime already been investigated by the local CID. It is made more difficult when it is discovered that the murder was an accident covered up by relatives of the deceased. The second case is about a robbery that took place at a glass factory in Glasgow. It had all the hallmarks of a professional job but as it transpired it was carried out by amateurs with a specific purpose in mind. The third case was the killing of an undercover officer and particularly weighed heavy on Mackenzie as he had been one of his officers and he was acquainted with the officer's family. The author has written and published five books, two of which were published by Publish America. One published by Diggory Press and the other by United PC an Austrian Traditional Publisher. This fifth book he was pleased that America Star Books had published this latest work. The author writes fictional novels based on police services and also on international terrorism, his work depicts police officers and intelligence officers as ordinary people who are asked by us to carry out a very exacting and sometimes dangerous job, and not as the movies who tend to romanticise the work and to create characters like James Bond. The author has been involved with police work for over thirty years and is ever mindful of the dangers policemen and women face in the ever increasing organised crime syndicates.
