This is the second book in The District Mysteries series. It is the continuing story of our protagonist, Nilia Preto. We are introduced to Nilia in the series prequel, After Tomorrow. In the first book of the mystery series, The Case of the Missing Sed, we journey with Nilia to find a woman lost during the early days of the removals. Things take an unforeseen turn in the The Case of the Flickering Light, the third book in the series. The Case of the Disappearing Anch, the fourth book in the series, is currently being written.
