The action of the Cambridge Curry Club unfolds over a mere nine hours and takes place in the NidiaNeed charity shop on the colourful Mill Road. Heera, Swarnakumari and Durga, three very different women of Indian origin, join forces with Eileen, an eccentric Irishwoman, against their aristocratic employer DIana Wellington-Smythe. The four reluctant heroines battle on, trying to maintain a semblance of normality, as secrets gradually come to light, twisting and turning the plot. A hilarious romp that has nothing to do with Asian 'Chick lit' or British curry.
