Johnny, the caring boy, and Nutting, the little red squirrel, developed a friendship. In time, Johnny learnt to love and to care for Nutting, and Nutting learnt to trust her friend, Johnny. They learnt to live in harmony. Their bond was put to the test when Nutting had to run for her life due to construction workers clearing the land. Could the two friends face the future together somehow?

About Yu-yen Li
Since her adolescence, Yu-yen Li had dreamt of being an author. She has worked in international organizations, and she set a goal of reaching out to the young generations through writing. She has turned that dream into reality. She would like to encourage children to read and learn, to help build their inquisitive minds, and to inspire them to work and live with hope in a fast-changing world. Her first children's bedtime story, 'Philo, Our Dog, ' was published in 2013.
Yu-yen Li lives in Switzerland. She also enjoys music and painting.
