Attractive, 27 year old Anna Addunizzio has a dilemma. The social service agency she had founded, a sort of center for wayward girls, is in trouble. Her best friend and the Center's bookkeeper has made off with over $225,000 of the agency's grant money. Anna may be may be implicated in the theft. The Center may fold. There will certainly be a huge scandal and Anna might find herself in trouble with the law. But Miles Devlin, the somewhat shady chief benefactor of the Center has offered her a way out.
