Publisher's Synopsis

The Birth of the Millennium is translated from the Third Reich original Die Geburt des Jahrtausends, which was published in 1936 and dedicated to his sons Jörg and Wulf. The author, Kurt Eggers, was the editor of the SS newspaper Das Schwarze Korps and an SS war correspondent. After he was killed on the Russian front in 1943, an SS regiment was named after him: the SS-Standarte Kurt Eggers. In short, Kurt Eggers was a true National Socialist warrior-poet, whose works provide a fascinating look into the soul of the ideal SS warrior. The terms "law" [Gesetz] and "lawful" [gesetzmäßig] as used by Eggers in this book do not refer to jurisprudence, rather to a kind of law of nature, namely the law of one's own true nature. "Order" refers to the natural order, living and acting in accordance to this law. Softcover. 136pp.
