An existential war between biologicals and mechs.
In the near future, scientists discover a flickering artificial sun headed towards Earth. Code named "Deimos", this alien threat becomes the impetus for a massive outworld colonization program, the creation of an army of mechs to defend the planet, and a bioengineering initiative to adapt the human race to survive the apocalypse. THE BIO-MECH WAR: STRIPE ISLANDS
When alien sharks wipe out a colony, fourteen-year-old Anacine is brought back to join the Junior Rangers. On the current mission to a gas-giant planet, colonists find life on floating shelves of vegetation. Swept away in the winds, Junior Rangers make contact with an intelligent native species called teardrops. With Rangers killing teardrops and collecting specimens, Junior Rangers must broker a peace if colonists want to stay.
