Publisher's Synopsis

When a young boy attends the 1962 National Football League Championship Game with his father, he can hardly believe his eyes as his beloved New York Giants go through their warm-up drills on the field. But throughout the game, bitterly cold winds cut through the crowd at Yankee Stadium, and the Giants struggle against the mighty Green Bay Packers. The Best Heroes is a true story about the enduring grasp of a parent's love - and how real heroes are often closer than we think.
