And the great thing about it is that you can't harm yourself. The first component of the Hippocratic Oath is "Do no harm" and MD follows this to the letter. It seems that no one is really taught how to walk or move correctly. It is assumed that we learn this by example and yet therein lays the problem. Our poor awareness and command of our own body movements and mechanics lead us slowly into a very dysfunctional compensatory body position where we do more harm in doing ordinary movements precisely because we are not sure of how to do things better.
Motion Dynamics was born out of this reasoning.
About the author Chris Watts is Asia's pioneer in therapeutic stretching, injury prevention and manual movement modalities. His years of transforming the lives of Asia's busy CEOs and entrepreneurs has prompted Chris to create a new more systematic approach to re-habituate the body structure. Motion Dynamics is a journey to bring your body back to its foundational level of alignment, flexibility, stability leading to optimal mobility.
In 1995 Chris attended a school for Manual Therapy in Sarasota, Florida and learned the art and science of Stretch Therapy from his friend and mentor Aaron Mattes. Prevention of injury became Chris' goal.in !997 Chris brought this work to Hong Kong and within days of arriving in Hong Kong his appointment book was full, and has been ever since.
